WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN STARTING CHIROPRACTIC CARE

Welcome to Summit Chiropractic and Wellness Center! Continue reading to learn what you can expect as a new patient here at out office.  We are excited to meet and work with you!

 

UPON ARRIVAL

When you arrive at our office, you can expect a comfortable office setting and to be greeted with a smile. Your visit will begin by filling out required office forms that assist us in gathering important information on how to best help you. Upon completion of these forms, you will be given some information to read over that will cover some basic information regarding your care in our office.

 

CONSULTATION

During the consultation, you will have a chance to meet with Dr. Kasper in a one-on-one setting. You can expect the doctor to ask specific questions about your previous chiropractic experiences, your health history and your condition. This is an important part of your initial visit because it allows us to determine how chiropractic care can assist you on your journey to wellness. In addition, the consultation helps us to understand your expectations of care.

 

EXAMINATION

After your consultation, Dr. Kasper will perform a thorough chiropractic examination that is likely to include a range of motion evaluation, neurologic evaluation, orthopedic evaluation and physical evaluation. In addition, the doctor may utilize thermographic scanning technology to evaluate your condition. If necessary, X-ray imaging may be performed to provide sufficient information on how we can best help you. Upon completion of your initial consultation and examinations, we will set up a follow up visit to discuss your condition and our recommendations for your care.

 

REPORT OF FINDINGS

After reviewing your health history, examination and X ray findings, Dr. Kasper will discuss recommendations for your care. If you decide to start care, you will receive your first adjustment during your report of findings visit.
